How the Founder of Switch2Pure Made the Switch Meet Estela Cockrell

Pure products for pure well-being.

Estela Cockrell meets purists wherever they are on their journey. Why? Because she had to Switch2Pure once, too — and she’s never looked back since.

Clean products are hard to come by. Whether you’re shopping for food, makeup or toiletries, the largest and most popular companies aren’t so glamorous once you read the fine print. Many people don’t confront the laundry list of harmful ingredients on their household staples until they have to. For Estela, shopping natural became a necessity for confronting her food allergies, autoimmune disorders and Lyme disease. When she saw how limited her options were, she created her own one-stop shop for everything pure and pampering. If you’re thinking of switching-2-pure, read below to discover how the woman behind it all made her own switch.

What were the first changes you made when you discovered you had autoimmune disorders in addition to Lyme Disease?

I changed my skincare routine and diet to give my exhausted immune system the break it needed. Within a month, I began to see results. My skin improved, my energy level increased, and my mental clarity was back. I felt amazing! In addition to my daily regimen, I regularly used ozone and near infrared saunas to detoxify my overly burdened system.

What has worked best?

The keys to my success were:

  • Fortifying my system with nutraceuticals
  • Changing my diet
  • Detoxing
  • Meditation

We already know that nutrition can directly influence our physiological health; what made you look to topical products as threats?

Your skin is your largest organ, which means it is another avenue into your immune system. As such, I’ve learned that topical products have the potential to tax my system. Skincare products can potentially contain cancer-causing ingredients and neurotoxins; instead, I optimize my immune system with clean products.

With the warmer season approaching, what are some ways we can protect ourselves and our children from ticks?

Wear a good quality non-toxic bug repellent when hiking or outdoors, especially on the east coast. Also, wear tall socks and make sure your yoga pants and socks meet each other. Finally, do a nightly tick check with your child, best friend or spouse.

What’s next for Switch2Pure?

Meeting our purists on their wellness journey, wherever that may be. Maybe we’ll see you at our wellery & spa or our social media platforms. We hope that our full line of natural & non-toxic skincare meanders into your medicine cabinet. We’re excited to be a part of every purists’ wellness journey.
