Embryolisse the crème de la crème of French skin creams

For several months, I have been seeing the old fashioned Embryolisse tubes here and there.
Favored by dermatologists for decades, this cream is a French beauty secret that has been transmitted from mother to daughter for generations. It is now making a comeback.

“Like many of my makeup artist colleagues, I love and use exclusively the Embryolisse cream! Its texture is perfect to hydrate any type of skin and is fit for all ages. It is the ideal base for makeup. I have never had any problems using it, no matter the type of foundation or corrector I use. It is always a perfect mix. I just adapt the quantity of cream I use according to the type of skin, whether it’s on the dry or the oily side. After a little massage for better absorption, I like to pat the skin dry by using a tissue so that the makeup will stick better. (Too much cream on the skin will make the foundation unstable) To obtain a natural effect, I like to dilute a dab of Embryolisse in the foundation. It helps to avoid the “cake” effect. Last but not least, Embryolisse is absolutely fabulous for makeup removal! I apply it generously on the face in gentle circular motion and I then remove the makeup with cotton squares.
