A cleansing and calming tea.

The essential oils in lavender and camomile help you to relax and sleep, and they do the same in this tea. The fennel seeds provide the cleansing element and they help to reduce water retention. Some people find the taste of lavender a bit strong, so if you prefer, reduce the amount a little. This tea works all year round: drink hot in the colder months and over ice when it starts to get warmer.

makes 1 litre

  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tbsp lavender flowers
  • 1 tbsp camomile flowers
  • 1 litre boiling water

Put all the tea ingredients into a teapot and leave to infuse for 5 minutes.

Drink this soporific tea before bed for a good night’s sleep, or when you want to relax and unwind.

Tip: You can also put some of the lavender in your bath with magnesium flakes before bedtime.
It will give you the best night’s sleep of your life!
