We recently met the gorgeous and brilliant Maria Valentino in Costa Rica, where she inspired us with her knowledge of plant-based medicinal products for beauty and well-being. After family members became very sick with life-threatening injuries and illnesses, Maria soon unearthed the phenomenal healing effects of cannabis. She learned that cannabis could be directly absorbed in targeted areas through transdermal delivery in order to benefit the entire body. Her cannabis research permeated into cancer studies, and she has been involved in all steps of cultivation from seed to extraction.
As a Pennsylvania native, the mushroom capital of the world, she fell in love with mycology very early on, and also incorporates mycelium compounds into formulations, diet and her everyday life.
