Travelling for work comes with many perks, among the best are experiencing new cultures, and becoming a packing pro in the process. Between jumping back and forth from L.A. to New York, and jet-setting to more tropical destinations like Bali, and Anguilla, I have picked up a few packing pointers. For instance, keeping a second cosmetics bag ready-to-go with all of your daily—TSA-friendly—must-haves, a no-brainer, right? Or stashing snacks in your carry-on so you’re not limited to what’s available at the airport. After all, we put so much thought into packing our clothes, why not do the same with our meals? Many of us have learned this lesson the hard way: Pack your passport first, and while you’re at it, make sure it’s not expired! A TSA-friendly-size of this toning and cleansing water is one of the products that don’t leave our travel toiletries bag. It’s perfect for wiping away makeup and toning skin. This industry-favored brand makes a powerful handheld device that lives in my carry-on. Jiffy also sells a travel kit version with a voltage converter, and four different adapter plugs. PS it’s also great for small spaces like NYC apartments.
8. Sedu Revolution Styling Iron
Another essential item that I keep in my suitcase is Sedu’s one-inch styling iron. It’s one of my favorite irons for styling. The ceramic, ionic technology plates can be adjusted for heat ranging from 140 to 450 degrees.
9. The Sabah Traveler
It was only a matter of time before Mickey Ashmore, founder of Sabah, created a weekender bag. After all, Sabah shoes are sold around the world.
