Eco Age turning the red carpet green

Livia Firth is dedicated to creating a more beautiful, eco-friendly world. She took her special interest in all things green and founded Eco Age.

Livia Firth is a woman with a mission. As Oxfam Global Embassador, UN Leader of Change, and recipient of UN Fashion for Development Award among others, Livia has long since been dedicated to creating a more beautiful, eco-friendly world. She took her special interest in all things green and founded Eco Age, a company that guides and rewards businesses in their environmentally friendly efforts.

Eco Age also started The Green Carpet Challenge (GCC), which highlights the importance of sustainable style, encouraging a fusion of glamour and ethics.

Eco Age pulls experts and influencers from around the world to create the most cutting edge, industry-wide solutions for sustainability. With Livia Firth at the forefront, this company is spear-heading the issues of today with a passion for and commitment to this planet and its inhabitants. Their team of consultants partners with brands and businesses, equipped with the proper awareness and training to help them develop sustainable answers to company questions. Eco Age also started The Green Carpet Challenge (GCC), which highlights the importance of sustainable style, encouraging a fusion of glamour and ethics.

Livia’s work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Vogue UK, Harper’s Bazaar, Telegraph Luxury, Telegraph Fashion, WWD and many more recognized fashion publications. After only five years, she has prompted designers from Victoria Beckham to Alberta Ferretti to reconsider their approach to fashion. The GCC is transforming the red carpet one dress at a time, and has inspired many stars including Stella McCartney, Meryl Streep, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, and Karli Kloss to start strutting sustainably.

Her company’s guidance touches every aspect of a business’s supply chain by delivering insights that the entire company can get behind.

Livia’s pledge to help this earth goes even farther than glamorous dresses, however. Her company’s guidance touches every aspect of a business’s supply chain by delivering insights that the entire company can get behind. Eco Age takes a holistic approach to their initiatives by experiencing these suppliers’ working environment and conditions for themselves. This exposure informs the advice they give, which covers issues of social justice, corporate accountability and environmental stewardship.

According to Livia, beauty and sustainability are not mutually exclusive. By harnessing the power of this partnership, she has accelerated our progress towards a healthier, happier, more magnificent world.
