BWB: What is your beauty routine?

I am very basic. Washing the face, moisturizing and putting on very light make-up in the morning.
At night, I always make sure I remove my make-up properly and apply moisturizing cream.

BWB: Which Brazilian products do you always bring back in your suitcase?

I usually get most of my products in the States. However, the BEST body treatments are in Brazil, from massages, to machines.
I love their treatments for modeling the body and to get rid of cellulite!

BWB: What is your wellness routine?

Drinking lots of water and enjoying life!

I have a trainer 3 times a week from Brazil, Thalita Pascual – she is amazing.

BWB: How do you stay fit?

I have a trainer 3 times a week from Brazil, Thalita Pascual – she is amazing.
I’ve also started to take an African Dance class with Djoniba Moulflet, and I am thinking of adding this to my routine.
I also do a special Brazilian massage that helps sculpt the body (it’s all the models’ secret). In NY, I do this at Maria Bonita Salon and Spa. It is called “massagem modeladora”. It really works.

BWB: What’s a perfect make-up for…

…the day time?
Tinted moisturizer by Laura Mercier, concealer by Bobbi Brown, bronzer (not too much) by Tarte, mascara and a gloss.

an evening out?
Same as the morning, just add Skinfinish powder by MAC, blush by Smashbox, a little NARS shining eye shadow (I like it gold), a black eye liner (I like it to be powdered with a really thin brush), LOTS of mascara and a gloss.

BWB: A beauty “faux-pas” to avoid?

Making a heavy skin with too much contour and too much base.

BWB: A place of choice in New York for…

…a healthy lunch?
Rouge Tomate

…a glamorous evening?
Nobu and Blue Hill

…a special dinning experience?
Momofuku

BWB: A Brazilian recipe you cannot do without?

Pao de queijo (cheese bread) and bolinho de arroz (rice balls). Not too healthy, but delicious!

BWB: Your necessary splurge?

I do love to buy make up!

BWB: A retreat favorite?

MY bed!

BWB: Your next project?

I am working on a blog called “New York in15 seconds”, to show cool and amazing places in the city.

BWB:Your mantra?

Don’t waste your time judging others. Work on yourself and be KIND!

BWB: Who are your beauty icons?

Natalie Portman and Julia Roberts. They are effortlessly gorgeous.
I always like actresses who embrace growing old like Helen Mirren and Diane Keaton. They look amazing without too much plastic surgery.
