A Weekend With Sharam Diniz

Sharam is both a model on the runway and a model of confidence, self-love, and self-expression that speaks to women worldwide.

When she’s not gracing the cover of Vogue Portugal, or posing for Chanel and Calvin Klein, Sharam Diniz runs Sharam Hair, a company that makes quality, natural hair extensions for women. Sharam is both a model on the runway and a model of confidence, self-love, and self-expression that speaks to women worldwide. BWB had the chance to catch up with her to find out how she spends her ideal weekend.

Any rituals to stay energized throughout the week?

I like to keep my routines simple. My schedule can get a little crazy with the travel and long hours, so it changes frequently, depending on whether it’s fashion week, or whether I’m working in Europe. The weekend is for catching up on my personal life, as the week is so busy with work. I’ve been working on my company, ‘SHARAM HAIR,’ which I’m excited to launch later this year. It offers an incredible line of hair extensions. I wear them all the time, and you may have seen them on Zendaya, Demi Lovato, and Afiya Bennett. For my fitness I like to box 4 times a week at Aerospace in NYC. I focus on eating as healthy as possible, but of course I cheat sometimes. I’m only human!

Favorite Sunday meal?

Pancakes with strawberries or berries and whipped cream on top.

Go-to beauty routine?

For my skincare routine, I wash my face everyday with a cleanser, and exfoliate with reflekt skincare products if necessary. I also use a regular day/night moisturizer.

Your beauty philosophy?

Beauty comes from within. Feeling good about yourself starts from the inside, with self-esteem.

Weekend styling tips?

I work with this amazing stylist Amarsana Gendunova for my red carpet appearances, but when it comes to the weekend, I’m all about comfort and cozy. I will usually wear sneakers with workouts clothes, or sweat pants and a t-shirt.

Share a favorite fashion week memory:

This past season, I walked for Juicy Couture and I had 2 looks, but I was not able to wear the second one because we were running out of time. I am glad I had my camera with me, because recorded all the behind the scenes action and now I’m able to show to people how crazy fashion week can be. I just launched my own VLOG,where you can check out the backstage and front row madness of fashion week, as well as footage from the AMFAR gala.

Pre-fashion week rituals?

Working out, which is part of my whole year routine, keeping myself hydrated, and drinking a lot of green juices because I’m very lazy when it comes to eating greens or veggies.

Day-to-night look?

Jumpsuits or dresses are my favorites – they’re easy-to-wear and don’t require a lot of thought.

Travel essentials?

I carry my cell phone, a neck pillow, and lipgloss, a camera to save my memories and share on my youtube channel, and of course, my Sharam hair kit (which includes all of my different wigs).
