Blackberry Farm

Charm and rejuvenation nestled in the Smoky Mountains of Tennesse

Blackberry Farm is a 9,200 acre family owned property with a unique heritage and wellness culture. Health and well-being permeate everything about this place from the spa experience, to the wonderful food, to the magical air and ambiance of this beautiful part of the world.

Owner Sam Beal grew up on the family property and has extensive culinary experience. He is passionate about artisanal food, heirloom ingredients and maintains one of the most extensive wine cellars in the U.S.

In a world where most of us are over scheduled and inundated with plans, there is a place in Tennessee which offers a total renewal experience on every level. Blackberry’s cuisine is amongst the finest in the world.

The award winning FarmStead is a world of its own with heirloom gardens, dairy, creamery, salumeria, honey house, and a preservation kitchen. The recipes are extensive and unique and they will also customize personal menus upon request. One of the most treasured experiences of many guests is a personalized picnic on the magical farm pond. Innovative spa treatments include, for example, the Smoky Mountain Skin Glow which is a blend of pomegranate seeds, orange peels and essential oils absorbed into the skin in a private steam bath.

The opening of the Wellhouse in 2014 is an extraordinary addition to the property. Constructed of reclaimed wood with sophisticated iron accents and views of the mountains, it has a rustic and serene ambiance. The Wellhouse menu is 44 pages long and presents one of the most extensive spa offerings in the world. For Anti-Aging, Blackberry has an Apple Stem Cell Treatment which uses fruit stem cell technology to rejuvenate cell life.

In keeping with the nature theme, the Spa offers Tata Harper’s all natural skin care line, as well as Naturopathica products. The estheticians are highly knowledgeable and can customize personal skin care routines.

Guided hikes, deep woods meditation and fly fishing outings on their private river are just a few of the experiences offered to provide an all-encompassing experience of rejuvenation.

Blackberry Farm

Much has been written about Blackberry Farm but words do not do justice to this place or to the sweet quietness in the atmosphere. One has to breathe the air, walk the gardens, take a cooking class (and discover HERE one of their fabulous recipe!), chat with the friendly and cultivated staff, and spend time at the Wellhouse to appreciate the intrinsic value of this remarkable vision.
