Your Natural Skincare Wardrobe

The results-driven chemical-free products your skin will love

In days gone by there was much debate about whether choosing natural skincare meant missing out on some of the efficacy of more “science-based” brands. No more. Many of today’s greatest natural products are backed by scientific reviews, research and cutting-edge discoveries. The result is a host of products that are kind on skin and big on results. Here, we look at the ones to try now.

The Cleanser: May Lindstrom The Honey Mud

Formulated with certified organic and wild harvested ingredients (Raw Honey from Michigan wildflowers, White Halloysite Clay and plant oils), this cleanser manages to leave skin refreshed without feeling stripped or dry. “Unlike other clays, white halloysite does not draw oils from the skin, so it can be used even on deeply dehydrated or sensitive complexions to restore balance,” explains founder May Lindstrom. Suitable for daily use, Lindstrom also advises using it on dry skin as a mask or applying before a shower if your skin is feeling particularly parched.

The Toner: Ursa Major 4-in-1 Essential Face Tonic

This cult toner perfects skin in four ways: using Willow Bark and Witch Hazel to exfoliate and clean skin by unclogging pores and restoring the skin’s pH balance post-cleansing; Birch Sap and Green Tea to heal inflammation and reduce redness; and finally hydrating Aloe to up moisture levels. Store in the fridge for an added pore-tightening boost.

The Serum: Tata Harper Concentrated Brightening Serum

Tata continues to be a natural beauty pioneer – not only due to her strict purity standards but also for formulating products that truly deliver. This particular one is so much more than a serum: it fights every stage of pigmentation to protect against the formation of dark spots and protect skin from discoloration. Alongside, it boosts collagen levels and delivers a hit of hydration to minimize fine lines.

The Oil : de Mamiel Winter Oil

Seeing the differing impacts that seasons have on our skin, facialist Annee de Mamiel began hand-blending oils four times a year for her clients. Such was their success that they led to her founding her own skincare line and to this day she still creates four bespoke seasonal oils each year. Using carefully selected organic mineral rich plant oils and fruit essences, massaged onto cleansed skin they revitalize circulation and nourish skin (plus their fragrances help calm the mind).

The Eye Cream: Soveral

The famed London Facialist is renowned for her sculpting and nourishing facials, during which she uses a unique massage technique to reduce facial water retention and puffiness caused by a sluggish lymph. Her products are equally well regarded and her eye cream is a must for aging or tired eyes. The silky balm harnesses the power of Vitamin E, Evening Primrose and Honey Extract to nourish the delicate eye area while the decongesting properties of Mandarin Peel reduce puffiness and dark circles.

The Moisturiser: African Botanics Intense Skin Repair Balm

Delivering a dose of radiance boosting, potent plant actives, smoothing vitamin-rich oils, and cutting-edge anti-aging ingredients including retinol and niacinamide this 100% natural silky balm melts to a serum upon application. Fans swear by its ability to treat hyperpigmentation, lack-lustre skin and eradicate minor scars and blemishes.
