Skincare regimens should change throughout our lives, but especially as we go through the different stages during and after pregnancy.
The reason a woman’s skin changes so dramatically during pregnancy is due to severe changes in hormone levels. Many women struggle with skin sensitivities they never encountered before, like Melasma, or hyper-pigmentation, breakouts, eczema, and rosacea.
The solution is not so easy. Mothers have to worry about whether ingredients they put on their skin will absorb into their bloodstream and effect their babies during pregnancy and while nursing. basq NYC takes the guess work out of finding skin care products that are safe to use during pregnancy and while nursing. All of their products are effective and address skin issues, free of any harmful ingredients.

Belli Beauty was created in 2002 by a doctor and beauty expert, a husband and wife team who could not find safe skincare options during the pregnancy of their first child. We are impressed by their acne products, which are free of benzoyl peroxide and salicylic and glycolic acids. Not only can those ingredients be dry and irritating, but they should also be avoided during pregnancy.
