Our fave tried-and-true products for the face, body and hair – all under $40!

When it comes to beauty, we have a lot of products on our wishlist. From ultra-hydrating skin moisturizers to special acne treatments to fabulous super-plumping mascaras, BWB needs to keep things within our budget if we want to have it all.

Here are some of the BWB Team’s favorite tried-and-true skincare and makeup products — all under $40!

For The Face
Butter London Double Decker Lashes Mascara

When you’re tired of drugstore makeup but don’t want to indulge in designer, Butter London’s Double Decker Mascara is the perfect happy medium for long lashes without the clump. I often had many people ask me if I was wearing falsies while using this mascara, and I was all too happy to respond that it was just me and my lovely lashes. $20

Rodin Luxury Kabuki Brush

A quality kabuki brush can truly blend away all your troubles as well as any harsh powder lines. From dusting on a bronzy highlighter to packing on a rosy blush, Rodin’s Luxury Kabuki Brush is the perfect tool to smooth over any makeup look with its soft but firm bristles. $25

Peach & Lily Lazy Day All-In-One Moisture Pads

For those days when you are a bit too sleepy for a multi-step skincare routine, Peach and Lily’s Lazy Day All-In-One Moisture Pads are the perfect secret weapon for your skincare arsenal. Each pad is soaked in a liquid formula of hyaluronic acid, spinach, broccoli, carrot, pomegranate, and bamboo extracts — a nourishing green juice just for your face! $27.30

Kosas Color & Light: Cream Blush & Highlighter Duo

An absolute staple in my beauty bag is the Kosas Color & Light: Cream Blush & Highlighter Duo in Tropic Equinox. This product is made without the nasty ingredients, so I don’t feel bad about using it every day. Plus, using a cream-based product in the winter is perfect for keeping your skin happily moisturized, and it blends in so beautifully. I like to dab a shy amount of the blush on the bridge of my nose so it looks like I’ve been laying out in the sun! $34

For The Hair
OGX Renewing Dry Argan Oil Of Morocco Weightless Healing Dry Oil

I’ve been dying my hair since I was twelve years old, and OGX’s dry argan oil spray has always been my go-to product for nursing my hair back to health. Oil products are often too dense and heavy for my fine hair, but this spray is light and ultra-hydrating without the weight or the grease. A quick spritz and a comb-through does the trick for any coarse textures or frisky fly-aways— plus it never hurts to smell like coconuts and warm sunshine. $9

Herbivore Coconut Sea Mist Texturizing Salt Spray

I discovered Herbivore back in college and it has remained one of my favorite skincare brands. Face oils and body scrubs aside, their Coconut Sea Mist Texturizing Salt Spray is absolutely divine. Containing the same salinity as in the Pacific Ocean, sexy beach waves are just a couple of spritzes away. Or, if you’re like me and can’t get enough of the natural notes of coconut and vanilla, a lot of spritzes. $20

Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Reparative Hair Pack

Masks — they’re not just for your face! Sometimes a deep conditioning treatment is all your hair needs for a quick winter pick-me-up. Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Reparative Hair Pack is packed with avocado oil and olive fruit oil to help relieve tired hair from environmental stresses like UV exposure. Lay off the curling wands and straightening irons, and take your hair to the spa. $25

Mason Pearson Rake Comb

A wide tooth comb is a haircare godsend that you will never regret having on your nightstand. Fine brushes and combs can tug on your hair, especially when damp or coarse. Give yourself and your scalp a break with Mason Pearson’s rake comb, which is a high-quality and beautifully colored brush with rounded edges perfect for gently separating knots. $37

For The Body
Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant

The legendary Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream is a beauty staple that I have not been able to replace yet! It helps shield dried and cracked skin on hands, elbows, knees and feet. I have also used it to relieve minor skin irritations or as a base before my lipstick! $20.40

Nécessaire The Body Exfoliator

Soft skin is everything to me! I recently tried Nécessaire’s The Body Exfoliator and it is ever-so luxurious. It’s supposed to be a weekly treatment but I like to use it every other day because I’m indulgent and enjoy the gentle massage. Formulated with special ingredients like bamboo charcoal and pumice, I guarantee you will not be able to stop feeling how soft your skin is post-shower. Plus, it’s fragrance-free so it won’t overwhelm your regular body wash! $30

Dr. Barbara Sturm Soft Anti-Cellulite Brush

For perfectly smooth skin, this dry brush is an absolute must-have. Dry brushing is also the most simple way to improve circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite. $35

EiR NYC All Natural Sunset Oil

Add a minute to your beauty routine to massage your body with an oil. Either in the morning to tone and activate the circulation, or in the evening after a shower/bath to relax. EiR’s Sunset Oil is infused with arnica and aloe and is the perfect choice to hydrate dry skin (for him or for her!). $35
