Marielle’s facial uses Zen Shiatsu and Japanese Massage techniques to sculpt, tone and lift skin and muscles as well as clearing energy blockages of the face. Rebalancing those not only helps reduce facial signs of inflammation or ageing, it also helps boost digestion and immunity.
I felt all the benefits of a full body massage when she only worked on my face!

After a thorough auscultation and a careful look at my ear lobes and auricles, Atsue starts working by stretching and massaging my ears before planting tiny needles on the acupuncture points that are crucial for circulation. These are the acupuncture points where the tensions have accumulated for years.
I visit Atsue anytime I am about to travel or if I need to regain some energy.
It is an oasis of peace and relaxation in the midst of London’s frenzy.

A healthy lunch at JAKOBS

I discovered this delicious and welcoming restaurant, thanks to my friend Laurence. We are both quite demanding when it comes to provenance and quality of produce.
We don’t need to worry about that when eating at Jakobs. Salads and entrees all look colorful and smell divine, and they are all guaranteed «organic».
Organic fish, chicken and meat «certified free range from highly regarded British farms». Add to this a lovely culinary trip across Europe, Middle East and Mediterranean flavors, and you’ll have a real taste of Jakobs.
The owner is Armenian and his wife is Israeli-Lebanese. In season, you’ll find a basket of fresh fruits from which you can choose your own combination for juice. The restaurant also offers catering.

Twice a week, the «Pharmacie Maubeuge» supplies its London customers with French pharmaceutical products, as well as special plant-based products, homeopathy and oligo-element supplements.

When I want to buy a present for a friend, I have two choices :
If the friend has a sweet tooth and doesn’t really care about calories, I pick a box of the marvelous ROCOCO chocolates.
Or I go to Walton Street and follow the scent of Italy to the Pharmacie Santa Maria Novella and its marvelous products. Santa Maria Novella — the mother shop — is the famous Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica in Florence, Italy and one of the world’s oldest pharmacies, as well as the creator of colognes and unguents whose recipes have been handed down for hundreds of years.
All of the products are still handmade in Florence.
My favorite? Bath salts Melograno, with their irresistible scent.

Upon my arrival in London, I had the privilege to meet Caroline Frankel de Rosnay and to connect to her website which lists addresses in London.
It was a great help and thanks to this website, I was able to find everything I needed from an interior decorator to a catering service, a manicure making house calls or a private gym coach…
