Whether you are planning a trip to Brazil or to the West Village in Manhattan, we have selected 2 great restaurants for you!

CASA

Casa, a quaint and inviting Brazilian restaurant tucked into the West Village, offers a generous spread of authentic dishes and a cool, cozy ambiance.

The owner, Jupira, is a native Brazilian, and after relocating to New York and completing university, she decided to open a restaurant of her own.

Going on its 17th year, Casa has a unique menu that offers a “comfort food” feel of typical Brazilian cuisine. Authentic dishes and the “must try” list includes Caipirinhas, the refreshing national cocktail, and Feijoada, a hearty national dish.
Brunch offers fresh, organic eggs that come straight from the Hudson Valley. You can enjoy a plate of eggs and Brazilian sausage or share a basket of Empanadas with friends while the natural light pours through vast windows into the rustic atmosphere.

Service is lovely, food is delicious, and if authentic Brazilian food is on the agenda, Casa is worth repeat visits.

APRAZÍVEL

Located in a multilevel tree house on a hillside overlooking Rio de Janeiro, Aprazível Restaurante is a one of a kind hot spot for dining. You can dine with exquisite views, both day and night.

Being enveloped in nature and having the feel of a true, Brazilian home calls for a rustic and laid-back, yet sophisticated ambiance. Aprazível values a wide assortment of fresh produce and a handpicked selection of artisanal drinks.
The menu is full of authentic dishes, all inspired by local, family recipes.

Between the breathtaking views, and a menu to match, it is hard to beat a destination like this on your next trip to Rio!
