What do you call a stylish woman who has used her business savvy and fashion know-how to curate a digital e-commerce platform for everything from designer handbags and summer suitcases to scented candles and fine jewelry? #Uberchique.

With over 56k followers on Instagram, Sylvie Utudjian has built a community of style junkies who turn to her for the latest brands, outfit combos, and places-to-be around the world. Through collaborations with high-end brands, Sylvie is able to provide the most cutting edge statement wardrobe pieces to her followers through her website– where you can even find the exact same sweater she was wearing in that beautiful Instagram post taken in Vienna. No matter where she goes, there is no other way to describe Sylvie other than Uberchique.

Friday day-to-night look?

A great day-to-night look that takes me from the office to a girls’ night out is a combination of leather cropped culottes, an oversized sweater and a pair of ankle boots. In the evening, I switch my sweater for a (lace) bustier top, add a blazer, and swap out my casual footwear for strappy open-toed high heels. I also pack my daytime accessories away into a sparkly clutch. For a touch of drama and glamour to finish off the look, add statement earrings!

Favorite staple piece from your closet?

This a tough question as I love so much of what’s in my closet at the moment! If I had to choose one staple piece, I would have to say a black blazer! I am a blazer girl and my all time favorite is the Dior “bar” jacket. I love the impeccable tailoring in a feminine, simple style. It completes every outfit and easily takes me from day to night.

Signature accessory?

This definitely has to be my very old (almost vintage now!) Hermes Kelly handbag in black box leather. I saw a picture of Kate Moss holding one in the early ’90s (while she was at Coachella) and I instantly fell in love with it. It’s the perfect balance between classic and modern with matte leather. I wear mine all the time, so it has that perfect patina and not-so-new sensibility that everyone wants!

Saturday ritual?

Sleeping in late followed by having a big breakfast with my husband and two teenage daughters, which is when we catch up on each other’s weekly schedules. At some point in the day, I head over to the tennis courts (winter and summer) to play a little tennis. Afterward, I like to catch up with my weekly reading (on and offline) and cook for my family. Saturday nights are for inviting friends over for casual dinners in the kitchen or for just watching movies with my daughters on Netflix!

Sunday run or relax?

Definitely relax! Unfortunately, I don’t know how to run. I am very sporty, yet I cannot seem to run longer than one minute. I prefer speed-walking, preferably in the nearby Vienna woods.

Go-to beauty routine?

My beauty routine is very specific to my skin. I rely on the expertise of my dermatologist in Vienna who has designed a personalized skincare routine specifically for me.

Mornings begin with La Roche Posay makeup remover followed by NeoStrata wash cleanser. I then apply a layer of NeoStrata smoothing cream and finish off with La Roche Posay day cream on top.

In the evening, I start again with La Roche Posay makeup remover and wash off any leftover impurities with NeoStrata wash cleanser. Afterward, I apply a roll-on liquid designed by my dermatologist that gently bleaches and peels the skin overnight. Finally, I hydrate the skin with a thick night cream by La Roche Posay.

I wake up every morning with illuminated, clearer and fresher looking skin that radiates and glows all day long. In terms of makeup, I am a Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier girl, through and through!

Uberchique’s favorite picks for the holidays?

Makeup palettes are always a winner with my teenage daughters, so I am sure to add the Starry Eyes to Hypnotise Pallette by Charlotte Tilbury on my shopping list. I also love gifting warm wool sweaters for the holidays, such as the oversized Air Isle Alpaca Blend Turtleneck Sweater by Frame. Socks are always a winner for stocking stuffers. I just discovered a fabulous luxury women’s sock brand designed in New York and made in Italy called Elizabeth Reid. I particularly love the KISS sock, which is both elegant and fun! More fun gifts include the following: TrüMedic IS-400 InstaShiatsu Foot Massager, AirPods, iPhone XR, and Electric Bikes by Story Bikes.

Best hostess gifts you recommend from Uberchique?

The very best hostess gifts are books. They are a nice way to show appreciation for your invitation and everyone loves receiving them. I find giving books is the best way to say thank you and show you genuinely care. They are perfectly customizable to the interests of your host or hostess, and you can add a personal touch by writing a small note inside the cover. I personally love receiving fashion books and biographies!

A cherished memory since creating your platform?

I will never forget when I learned that the Amsterdam-based social media agency I work with started to use ‘uberchique’ as a buzzword to describe anything incredibly chic. This word became part of their office vocabulary; they told me that my style had inspired them all so much that they adopted the word to describe something that was very stylish or beautiful to clients and colleagues in the office.

Your brand’s ultimate mission?

I have always been passionate about fashion and styling, so I wanted to obtain a digital voice through my creation of @uberchique.  I began this adventure in 2016 by posting my outfits, tips from world travels, art and interior design inspirations, etc.  I am dedicated to  my followers, so I take every opportunity to continuously engage with them and show them innovative things. The community I have built throughout the years trusts me for fashion and lifestyle advice. If I can inspire just a few people along the way, it’s all been worth it and I’ve accomplished my mission.
